How to stop regurgitating your problems!

I know this sounds gross but it can be an obsession for many people and one I’d like to help put the kibosh to.  I chose the word regurgitate for a very good reason.  If you really want to realize your dreams, than you need a very strong visual to trigger positive change in your thinking patterns.  Let me ask you this?  Do you want fewer problems?  Of course! Would you like to easily cast the mental trauma caused by problems aside and not be so deeply bothered by them? Absolutely! Wouldn’t that be totally awesome? Totally! Well today is your lucky day. I’m going to share some of my coaching secrets to help you move more swiftly through problems and onto the pathway of success.  Sound good?  Great, let’s get started…

Now then, just know that this problem is more of a problem with thinking than it is a problem with the actual problems.  You see, by focusing on problems, over and over again, soon the thought and feelings connected to the thought becomes a habit. Once programmed deeply into your mind, all you see is problems everywhere. And then after a process that takes about 63 days, the perception of the problem and all its fears, worries, and limitations create neuro pathways that get ingrained in the brain, changing healthy chemicals into unhealthy ones.  This system of mental, emotional and even physical and spiritual sickness destroys prosperity.  Prosperity means to get better and better, and you’re most certainly not improving as you are dwelling on problems day in and day out.

Think of this process of focusing on problems repetitively. Once programmed you’re reaction to situations  become automatic like a dog that throws up and then goes back and eats its own vomit. Gross again, right?  Yup!  Yet that’s what so many people do.

It’s critical that we see this as darkness.  When you’re lost and all alone in the darkness and can’t see where to go, you look for the light, right?  In the darkness you press in toward the light until you find it.  When you “see the light” you no longer look at the darkness.  You easily stay fixated on the light.

No one wants to be in the dark unless they’re hiding, escaping, and falling into their minds abyss as if in captivity. Yet it is more out of programming and habit not life’s problems.  Even our cells are programmed before we came to be in many ways.  Ancestral programming is also in effect. I won’t get into that here however.

You see seeking the light and moving towards it is also a habit. The best part of this insight is that you can reprogram your mind at any time.  Just know that this is not a haphazard, one time done deal.  It is a habit developed through conscious effort, commitment, and repetition.

Both habits start out as a thought, then a feeling, and then a belief and then it just kept on going… repetition, repetition, and repetition. Then it became automatic; we’re no longer aware that it’s happening when it is first ignited.

Experiencing constant problems can lead a person to think problems are happening to them, as if they have no control over what is happening.  Not true.

It’s really more up to you. If you feel paralyzed by your problems as if enslaved in chains, take a look and see where your focus is.

Are you looking towards the light? What can go right? Be better?

Are you seeking to find solutions? What can you do?

Are you asking yourself, “What CAN I can do RIGHT NOW, to feel better?”

Troubles of the world can seem to close in without warning and it can be seriously suffocating. The heaviness of loss presses down on the shoulders and failures or fear becomes a prison. Failing businesses, lost jobs, foreclosures, divorce, and sickness, disease and death of a loved one can drive our dreams into the dark abyss of hopelessness.  Giving up is commonplace. Yet these are not the times to withdrawal or wither away. These are opportunities to reveal your potential, strengthen your skills, and develop your character. And last and most importantly these are moments to see God’s miraculous hand at work in you, through you, and all around you.

~ Bernard Edmonds said, “To dream anything that you want to dream, that is the beauty of the human mind. To do anything that you want to do, that is the strength of the human will. To trust yourself, to test your limits, that is the courage to succeed.”

My friend, have faith in yourself knowing that those most passionate dreams that have been planted in your mind are no mistake.  The journey will be full of highs and lows. There will be times when you want to throw in the towel and give up.  You will doubt yourself, doubt your dream, and doubt that you can ever find the resources to help you fulfill your deepest desires.  In those times of difficulty “press in”.  Laugh in the face of tremendous adversity.  It is then that you are so very close.  It is then that you are being prepared for what’s ahead.  Preparation always precedes amazing opportunities and breakthroughs.  Have faith!

Remember my simple favorite secret to think more positively to continue on your quest…

Think about the “One thing that could change everything!”

Shift your focus from problems to taking one step.

Instead of wondering “What is the one thing that could go wrong? Or “What is one thing that is limiting you from living the life you want to live?” start imagining “What is the one thing that could change everything?” When you focus on just one thing you can do right NOW, and do it, you will transform daily opportunities into powerful possibilities.

Notice what happens when you think about a problem and then think about one thing that could go terribly wrong.  Notice how you feel in your body.  Notice how one negative thought leads you to another and then another and soon you’re feeling horrible.

Now notice what happens when you think about something that could go exceptionally well.  And when you think about what you did to get there.  And when you think about what you can do RIGHT NOW to move in that exciting direction.  Notice how this thought motivates you!  Notice how much more energized you now feel after shifting your thoughts.  Notice how much more likely you are able to tackle the difficult tasks.

Most people focus on how far they have to go, what’s going wrong or not going right, and what is lacking.  They worry “what if” the worst thing possible can happen?  Life is not meant to be like that.  There is a realm of possibilities where the unseen is working to bring what you deeply desire into the picture; first in the landscape of your mind and then into your reality. Yet we need to understand the principals to work in cooperation with them.

Keeping your thoughts aimed at what feels good and what you really want, you will be more inclined to do one thing that will plant a seed of prosperity in the garden of your dreams. Each step strengthens your desire, each step clarifies your intention, and each step shows the unseen powers, that you really want what you say you want.  Then one day, which might feel like forever, you will see the Law of Attraction bring it into manifestation.  It will be as if the power of the mind and the universe worked together, and you’ll realize it never was all up to you.  You had help and it was easier than you thought.

The law of the mind works like this;

1. Envision what you want to have.

2. Then imagine what you did to have that?

3. Then do one thing that will have the greatest impact right now, to move you in that direction.

Lastly, yet far from least, pay attention to whom you are being.  If you are being hopeful, excited, committed, focused than it is that positive energy that will drive the outcome.  If you are being crabby, critical, fearing the worst, anxious about your future or worrying about failure, then it is that negative energy that will obstruct the manifesting flow, bringing your fears into reality.

Therefore, what is the best way to realize your dreams?  Enjoy the journey.  It’s that simple.
