Lino Lakes business and life coach Lori Bestler will be taking her know-how to the Mayo Civic Center stage Aug. 22, where she will jump into the over-busy minds of professionals and wrestle them to the peaceful ground of focused, productive inner life.
Bestler created Mindscapes Unlimited coaching and speaking services six years ago, after wrestling and winning her own battles with ADHD (attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder), eating disorders, and abuse in her home. She rejected medications – they only seemed to add stress to her illness. Instead she studied an array of mind therapy techniques, initially inspired by a Bill Moyer’s interview with Mayo Clinic doctors and Anatomy of the Spirit by theologist Caroline Myss.
“My experience in understanding the ‘busy mind,’ individuals called ‘sensitive’ and what they struggle with, enables me to help a unique class of intelligent, talented and misunderstood individuals to be their best selves every day,” says Bestler.
She took her 14 years of ladder-climbing corporate sales and management, combined that with certified practices in hypnotherapy, neuro-linguistic programming, motivation coaching, stress management, and leadership and team-build training — as well as Bestler’s fiery drive to help people like herself take control of their run-away minds — and built a successful new career.
She also produced “Rapid Results” — a four 90 minute session hypnosis/coaching program and a series of eight, self-hypnosis audios, ranging from 10 to 60 minutes each. In download or CD formats, the audios help her clients achieve weight loss, ADHD control, peaceful confidence, motivation, qualities to attract what you want, and relief from procrastination, tension and depression.
Bestler will speak to Rochester Convention & Visitors Bureau partners at its event, “Sales Caffeine,” at the Mayo center. She’s the caffeine equivalent for the new morning of the rest of your life.
